Send a correction when a company, dApp, job, event, grant, bounty, hackathon, accelerator, or other listing contains a factual error.

Before reporting

  1. Open the exact listing and copy its dApp.ing URL.
  2. Check the organization’s official source.
  3. If you manage the listing, use its edit controls first.

Write the correction

  • Name the incorrect field and its current value.
  • Provide the corrected value.
  • Link to the most authoritative public evidence.
  • State whether the item is stale, duplicated, closed, moved, or attributed to the wrong entity.
Public evidence is usually enough for a correction. Reporting an error does not give the reporter ownership of the listing. For duplicate or impersonating identities, use the dedicated report guidance because it may require a safety review rather than a routine data edit. A strong source is the organization’s official website, verified social account, explorer link, or current program page. Search results and copied directories are weaker evidence. If dates or terms changed, include when the official source was updated so reviewers can distinguish a correction from a new announcement. After submitting, keep the original URL available. A correction may update the record without transferring ownership or changing unrelated fields.
