A listing’s state tells you whether it is awaiting review, visible to everyone, unavailable, or open to an ownership claim.

Common states

  • Pending: the submission or a recent change is waiting for review.
  • Hidden: the listing is not currently shown in normal discovery.
  • Rejected: the submitted version did not meet the content or evidence requirements.
  • Claimable: the public record has no confirmed manager and can receive an ownership claim.

What to do

  1. Open the listing from your personal or company workspace.
  2. Read the visible status and any user-facing guidance.
  3. Correct incomplete facts, broken official links, unclear ownership, duplicate content, or expired dates.
  4. Resubmit or use the claim/correction path where offered.
Creating a duplicate rarely solves a status problem. If you cannot access the original listing, send its URL and supporting evidence through feedback. Open the listing while signed in as its publisher to see the available correction path. Fix factual errors and official links before requesting another review. A claimable record may be maintained from public sources until an authorized person claims it; claiming management does not guarantee verification or approval.
