Turn the filter on
1
Open the setting
Go to Profile Settings → Privacy → Message Privacy → Karma Message Filter on your own
profile.
2
Choose a level
Switch it on and drag the slider to the level you want. Your own Karma is shown beside it for
reference.
3
Check it saved
Wait for the status chip to settle on Active. It reads Off when the filter is disabled
and Saving while a change is being stored.
What it does and does not do
The filter applies to first contact only. Someone below your level cannot send you a message request at all; they see a message saying their account does not meet your preference. Conversations you already accepted are unaffected, and so is company access and group membership. Two relationships bypass the filter: people you already follow, and people who share a company with you on Dapping. A colleague or someone you asked to hear from is never held back by your own setting. Karma is one contextual signal about a builder’s track record, not a guarantee of good faith. See verification badges and Karma for what it measures. Keep blocking and reporting as the tools for a specific person.Choosing a level
Set it to match how many unsolicited requests you can realistically read. If useful introductions stop arriving, lower it and rely on reading profiles instead. If the control appears not to have saved, reopen Profile Settings and check the chip rather than dragging the slider repeatedly.Continue on Dapping
