Before you enter
- Publish your project first. The project’s creator or any confirmed teammate can enter it.
- Get the participation code from the hackathon organizer.
- Entries open when the hackathon starts and close at its submission deadline.
Enter your project
You can enter from any of three places:- The hackathon’s Leaderboard tab: choose Submit project, pick the project and enter the code.
- Your project’s page, under Hackathons: choose Enter a hackathon.
- The project form, with Hackathon leaderboard switched on. The code is checked before the project is saved.
How the leaderboard ranks projects
- Your score comes from how many people support your project and how well they review it.
- Each person counts once, whether they upvote, review or both.
- A good reception from many people beats a perfect one from a few.
- Upvotes and reviews from your project’s creator and confirmed teammates never count.
- Only activity between the start of the hackathon and the close of judging counts, and the standings become final when judging closes.
Withdraw or change your entry
The creator or a confirmed teammate can withdraw the entry while the leaderboard is open, and submit it again with the code until the submission deadline. After the leaderboard closes, only the organizer can remove it. If an organizer removes your entry, your team gets a notification naming the hackathon, with the organizer’s reason if they gave one.Continue on Dapping
