Report a duplicate when two records represent the same person or organization. Report impersonation when a profile or hub falsely presents itself as another identity.

Gather safe evidence

  • The dApp.ing URLs for every affected record.
  • The official website or social account that establishes the authentic identity.
  • A concise description of conflicting names, handles, links, branding, or claims.
  • Your relationship to the identity, if relevant.

Submit the report

  1. Select Report on the affected profile or company.
  2. Choose the closest identity or impersonation reason.
  3. Add the evidence links and explain the requested correction.
Keep personal information private while the report is reviewed. A verification badge can help identify the official record, but the team will still review the evidence. If you are authorized to manage an unowned but accurate company record, use the claim flow instead. Do not confront an impersonator or send them additional proof of your identity. If the report involves your own company, use an official company-domain contact or connected account where requested. dApp.ing may need to preserve separate records when they represent different people or organizations with similar names.
