The Builders directory brings public work and experience together with availability set by each profile owner.

Find builders

  1. Open Builders.
  2. Search by name, handle, skill, role, or relevant filter.
  3. Open a profile to review experience, projects, recommendations, and proof labels.
  4. Use the message request flow for respectful outreach.

Availability signals

Open-to-work and advisory signals show what the profile owner is interested in. Their full profile may include more detail about roles, location, and working preferences.

Before reaching out

  • Read the full profile and recent work.
  • Separate verified experience from information the person added themselves.
  • Explain why the opportunity is relevant.
  • Use the message request flow and respect their response.
Open-to-work is self-managed and can become stale. Look for the specific intentions shown on the profile—full-time, contract, co-founding, advisory work, hackathon teams, grants, or bounties—and ask whether the builder is still available. Do not infer availability from profile visibility alone. For outreach, name the company, role or collaboration, expected commitment, location or timezone, and why the builder’s visible work is relevant. Specific, respectful context earns more useful replies from serious builders.
