A project listing is a public project profile, and it is the only type you can publish from your proof page rather than a company hub.

Create the project

1

Start the form

Open Publish, choose your proof page or a company hub, and select project.
2

Describe the project

Paste the project’s website or GitHub link to fill the empty fields from what that source states, then check them. A different link replaces what the first one filled, never what you typed. Add or correct the name, one-line summary, description, category, stage, links, ecosystems, and media.
3

Choose a launch week

The Launch field puts the project on a weekly launch board and defaults to this week. Pick a later week, or Don’t launch yet. See Launch or relaunch your project.
4

Credit the team

Add team members only where the person contributed and should receive public credit.
5

Submit

Check the preview and submit. A project appears publicly as soon as it is created.

Team credit and edit rights

Everyone you add through the create or edit form is recorded as credit only. That field grants no edit rights, whatever role a person holds elsewhere. Each person you add receives a request and must approve it before the credit becomes public. They answer on their own profile, under Portfolio, in the Team requests panel. Someone who declines can be invited again later. Editing rights follow a separate rule. For a project published from a proof page, the creator and any approved owner, admin, or editor on the project can edit it, and the creator or an approved owner or admin can change the team. For a project published from a company hub, the company owners and admins hold both. Project credit, company membership, and verified professional experience are separate records. Adding someone to a project does not verify their employment.

Reviews land here

Projects are the only entity type on Dapping that receives star ratings and written reviews. As the host you can post one response per review, replace it later, and the reviewer is notified when you do. Comments apply to other listing types instead.

Post updates

Tell people what changed with Post an update in the project page menu. Each update has a title, notes, and an optional version, and the latest one shows as What’s new on the project page. Updates do not send notifications.

Troubleshooting

If a teammate is not shown, ask them to check their pending team requests. If editing controls are missing, confirm your approved project role or your company role and the identity you are signed in as. Keep networks, official project links, and contract details accurate, and update them after a launch, migration, rebrand, or ownership change.
