Two things separate a profile that gets a reply from one that does not: how specific it is, and whether anyone else confirms it.

The headline

Weak. Blockchain Developer | Web3 Enthusiast | DeFi Strong. Solidity engineer. Lending protocols and liquidations. Currently open to contract work. The first names a category. The second names the work, the domain, and what you want next.

The experience entry

Weak. A role at a company typed as free text, no dates beyond the year, description reading “worked on smart contracts and various protocol features.” Strong. The same role linked to the company in the Dapping directory, with accurate title and dates, described as “owned the liquidation engine through two audits and a mainnet migration.” Then Ask company to attest so a named company confirms it. Only a linked company can be verified, so linking is what makes an attested role possible at all.

The portfolio

Weak. Three projects listed by name. Strong. Two projects with working links to a repository, a live app, or a deployed contract, and team credit accepted so the work is attached to you rather than described by you. Two inspectable projects carry further than six a reader cannot open.

The skills

Weak. Twenty skills, several added to appear in more searches. Strong. Six you can be interviewed on, with endorsements from people who watched you use them. A long list dilutes the skills that matter.

What separates the two

Every difference above is one of three moves: name the specific thing, link it to something a stranger can open, and ask someone else to confirm it. The strong version is no longer than the weak one. Once it reads the way you want, open your public address in a private browser window. Your own view includes pending items and private controls that no visitor sees.
