# Publish events, side events, and co-organizer requests

> Choose the right event type and invite another company as a co-organizer.

Use an event listing for the main event and a side-event listing for an independently scheduled gathering connected to a larger event or ecosystem moment.

## Create an event

1. Select the company that is organizing it.
2. Choose Event or Side Event from Publish.
3. Add accurate dates, timezone, location or online details, registration link, organizer, and description.
4. For a side event, connect it to the relevant parent event when shown.
5. Preview and submit.

## Add a co-organizer

Selecting another company sends its owners and admins a co-organizer request. The company appears as a confirmed organizer after one of them accepts.

## Common problems

* Check that start and end times use the correct timezone.
* Use a public registration link rather than a private management URL.
* If a co-organizer is missing, ask its owner or admin to review the request.

An event calendar is a durable container for a place and date range and cannot be edited after creation, so verify the city, timezone, dates, and official source first. Side-event hosts and co-organizers should be added accurately; requested credit becomes meaningful only after the invited party confirms it.
