# Start here: builders

> The ordered path from a new account to a proof page that companies, recruiters, and ecosystems can act on.

A builder gets the most from Dapping by working in one order: set up the account, build proof other people confirm, then become discoverable. Each step below links to its own guide.

## Set up the account

1. [Create an account and choose a sign-in method](/help/getting-started/create-an-account-and-choose-a-sign-in-method), then keep your recovery method separate from the accounts you connect for display.
2. [Complete onboarding and choose your public handle](/help/getting-started/complete-onboarding-and-choose-your-public-handle). The handle becomes your public profile address, so pick one you are willing to share.

## Build the proof

3. [Build and share your proof page](/help/getting-started/build-and-share-your-proof-page) with the roles, projects, and intent you want to be found for.
4. [Add and verify professional experience](/help/profiles/add-and-verify-professional-experience). A verified role is the strongest signal on the page, and it is worth doing before anything else on this list.
