Match indicators compare information in your public profile with the details in an opportunity. Use them as a starting point, then read the full requirements. ## What can improve a match * A complete and current profile. * Relevant skills, experience, projects, and recommendations. * Clear location, availability, and work preferences when relevant. * Well-structured opportunity requirements from the publisher. ## How to use a match 1. Open the full opportunity and read every requirement. 2. Compare the explanation with your actual experience. 3. Correct stale profile information rather than adding unsupported claims. 4. Apply only through the official process. A match can be incomplete when the profile or listing has little detail, and it can change when either one is updated. The publisher still decides who can apply and who moves forward. The indicator uses only the profile and listing context available at that time. It may miss experience you have not added or overstate a shared keyword. It does not determine eligibility, rank applicants for the publisher, or predict selection. Treat the explanation as a prompt for human review.
