# Search, filter, and browse ecosystem hubs

> Search by name or handle, or browse directories with focused filters.

Use global search when you know a name or handle. Use directories and ecosystem hubs when you want to browse by type, category, location, stage, or another filter.

## Refine results

1. Search with a specific name, handle, skill, or topic.
2. Apply only filters that matter to your decision.
3. Open the full profile instead of relying on a card.
4. Verify official links, dates, proof labels, and attribution.

No results can mean the spelling, filter combination, or listing state is too restrictive. Clear filters and try the canonical handle or a broader keyword.

## Move from results to evidence

Use search to narrow the field, then open the full builder, company, dApp, event, or opportunity. Check dates, publisher context, official destinations, proof labels, and current status. Search order is a discovery aid, not a recommendation, endorsement, or complete view of Web3.

Try the language a publisher or builder would actually use, then combine only the filters that affect your decision. Over-filtering can hide relevant work with incomplete metadata.
